Our province’s economy has restarted and the government is making decisions on how best to invest their $1.5 billion Economic Recovery Fund. Many organizations and individuals are actively engaged in promoting an economic recovery that addresses pressing social and environmental issues, strengthens our capacity to face future crises, and protects the life of all living things.

In our region, Wildsight is launching Building the Kootenays Back Better. This volunteer-led campaign will communicate the importance of a sustainable and resilient recovery for our region, share information about the kind of investments that align with this purpose, and support community dialogue, organization and action for an economic stimulus that builds a better future for Kootenay residents.

We need your ideas and input! Please take this quick poll and share your interests, insights and recommendations. If you want to volunteer to carry out activities that trigger dialogue in your community or organization about a sustainable and resilient recovery, please contact us at info@wildsight.ca to learn more. Your collaboration will make this campaign more relevant and impactful.

We are excited to seize this opportunity to help our communities thrive. Join us!
