Join Us for a Nature Walk at Ka Papa Cedars!
Join biologist and naturalist Ed McMackin on Sunday, October 11 for a peaceful walk through the majestic cedar forest at Ka Papa Cedars.
These incredible trees have stood for generations, offering a tranquil and humbling experience as you walk among them. The loop trail winds through a lush forest rich with old-growth cedar, providing a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with nature and learn more about the landscape around us. Meet at 9:15 AM, Mall parking lot directly across from A&W we’ll meet here before heading up to the trail.
The walk is dependent on sufficient interest and registration, so please let us know if you’d like to join!
Ridesharing may be available for those who need a ride.
If you have registered and plan to meet us directly at the trail rather than the mall parking lot, please let Rebecca know ahead of time.
Weather: If conditions are too inclement, we may change the trail and will provide notice to those who have registered.
Come spend a morning surrounded by some of our valley’s magnificent old-growth cedars, learn from a local naturalist, and enjoy some time outdoors with fellow nature lovers.
Please contact Rebecca to register or for more information.
