Kieran Simpson

Kieran grew up in the Kootenays and moved back to begin his career as a lawyer after attending Dalhousie University in Halifax. He specialized his legal studies in both environmental law and Aboriginal and Indigenous law, and has published several academic pieces in the environmental law field. He has worked with several environmental nonprofits in the past, both in communications roles and as a board member, including Wildsight back in 2018. Kieran wants to continue to assist groups like Wildsight in his legal practice and future academic work. Kieran has remained an advocate for Wildsight’s work and is excited to rejoin the organization.
