Join us to celebrate the harvest season!
This Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook event is a great chance to enjoy the garden, partake in a plethora of activities, and, most importantly, connect with others while enjoying the turning of the season.

10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Kimberley Community Garden

Schedule of activities:
10:00 am – Event to begin, including apple pressing and garden tours
Don’t forget containers to take home some apple juice!
10:30 am – Wildlife awareness and bear spray demonstration with WildSafe BC‘s Danica Lisk
Learn about bear biology and how to properly use bear spray (and you even get to try it out!)
11:45 am – Potato Sack Races
12:00 pm – Community Potluck
Bring a dish to share (and serving utensils as well) and enjoy delicious food alongside family and friends.
1:00 pm – Event to end
NOTE: Apple juice pressing with Christel, Garden Tours with Chad, and Games/Crafts with Kim will take place throughout the entire event!
Please bring:
- Water bottle (for drinking water)
- Cups/mugs for sampling apple juice
- Containers to take home some apple juice
- A reusable bag for garden harvest
Things to know:
- Please dress for the weather, this event is 100% outside.
- Public washrooms are available down the street at the Civic Centre/Rotary Park.
