From grizzly bears in the Flathead Valley to lions in Tanzania the PBS documentary Wildways: Corridors of Life showcases the importance of wildlife corridors in the ever changing landscape of the 21st century. The film takes viewers on a dramatic journey through some of the most biologically important and spectacular areas of the planet. In the process we learn what large mammals like the jaguar, lion, and grizzly bear need to survive.
Join us for film screenings in Fernie, Kimberley and Cranbrook and discussions on local wildlife corridors, and the solutions, issues, and challenges that are currently affecting our wildlife in the East Kootenay.
