Linda McVetty

Linda has lived in the Kootenays since 1991, attracted by its natural beauty and diverse recreational opportunities.

Linda works as the Safety and Training Coordinator for Nupqu, a Ktunaxa owned resource and land management company. She worked in environmental education and outreach for many years for the BC Invasive Species and East Kootenay Invasive Plant Councils. She has recently been certified as a Forest Therapy Guide, through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs and is excited to share this practice in the Kootenays.
