Wild Ideas Invermere: Permaculture

Thursday, April 21, 2016
Invermere Branch
Location:
Circle Cafe, Invermere

It’s that time of year again: time to think about the garden and get your hands dirty. But how can you be even more sustainable or self-sufficient? How can you improve your land rather than just maintain it? Think Permaculture!

On April 21st, Javan Bernakevitch, a Permaculture Design Instructor, will introduce the what, why and how of permaculture as a regenerative design system.

Permaculture BC describes permaculture as an “ethical design system [that] uses organic agriculture, urban farming, regenerative design, and many other ways of knowing to teach and provide a practical framework for individuals to take responsibility for themselves, their children and their community.”
