Trophy Film Screening & Discussion (Invermere)

Location:

Each year, thousands of grizzly bears are killed worldwide for entertainment. Over 300 grizzly bears are legally killed for sport in BC, yet there is no scientific, ethical or economic rationale for the trophy hunt. Diving deep into the controversy across Canada and the United States, Trophy asks: can we truly justify killing these animals for sport?

Recently, Wildlife Defence League partnered with Lush Cosmetics in filming the documentary, Trophy, which looks at First Nations, organizations and dedicated individuals working to end the grizzly bear trophy hunt. Join Wildsight Invermere Branch and Wildlife Defence League for a screening of the documentary, Trophy, followed by a short discussion.
