Do you love wildlife and the Columbia Wetlands? Want to observe, identify and count birds and contribute to real citizen-science? If so, the Columbia Wetlands Waterbird Survey is for you!
Spring survey dates are April 3rd, 10th and 16th from 8am-11am. Fall survey dates for October will be announced in the summer.
Full training is provided as well as a field manual and high optical field gear (e.g. spotting scope, tripod) as required.
Training Modules are set for:
Golden – March 14th, 5-7pm. Location: Wildsight Golden office, located at Office #203, 421-9th Ave (Patlar Building) above Youth Centre and Fudge/Candy Shop.
Invermere – March 21st, 5-7pm. Location: 625-4th Street, South Annex (look for logos on the door for Living Lakes, Wildsight and Lake Windermere Ambassadors).
