For this Open Gate Garden Work Bee we will be planting the new Biointensive Garden beds with Sharon and James of the Kootenay Society for Sustainable Living from 4:30pm – 6:30pm. Sharon and James have proven to hold a plethora of knowledge when it comes to mini-farming so come on out and join this great opportunity to learn hands-on.
The Biointensive method is a “truly sustainable mini-farming system that focuses on growing a complete diet on as little land as possible” and we are thrilled to have a dedicated demonstration plot at the Open Gate Garden.
