Location:
Infinitea Tea Bar | 7pm | Free | $12 dinner available

Join Wildsight & East Kootenay Invasive Species Council (EKISC) for an evening at Infinitea. Learn about invasive species in our beautiful community and how to prevent their harmful effects.

‘Grow Me Instead’ is a program designed to inform gardening enthusiasts about horticulture’s most “unwanted” invasive plants in British Columbia, while providing a variety of native and exotic plant alternatives found to be noninvasive across the province. Whether you are adding new, attractive plants to your garden, starting a landscaping project, or removing invasive plants from your land, this presentation will be a valuable resource.

By working together, we can ensure that future generations will enjoy the naturally beautiful landscape of BC, while nourishing sustainable communities, healthy ecosystems and vibrant gardens.

Guest Speakers:
Jessie Paloposki, EKISC Education Coordinator
Katie Young, Field Operations Coordinator
