What do you want the world to look like in 2040?
In the new feature documentary 2040, director Damon Garneau explores what the future could look like if we rolled up our sleeves and started to take action on climate change now.
Trading in images of destruction for a message of hope, Garneau offers an inspiring 90-minute story about how we can strengthen our communities and improve the quality of life for both people and animals by embracing the best solutions already available to us. Film critic Peter Bradshaw calls it “an optimist’s guide to saving the world.”
It’s a story we need now more than ever, so we want to invite you to watch it with Wildsight Invermere – for free!
If you’re interested, all you have to do is register below. On September 26, we’ll send you a link to watch 2040 from the comfort of your own home (you can watch it anytime from September 26 to October 2).
On October 1 at 7PM, we’ll host a virtual community discussion about the film, and explore what climate change adaptation could look like in Invermere and the Columbia Valley. You will also receive a link to this discussion in the email.
We hope to ‘see’ you there!
