Wood Stove Exchange Program
The Ministry of Environment and Wildsight, in partnership with the RDEK and municipalities in the region, offered a Wood Stove Exchange program from 2008-2015. During that time, over 250 old stoves were changed out in the region, with a goal of improving air quality. This program ended in our region in October 2015.
