Live Screening FAQs

Q: Will there be two unique screenings with different films playing?

Yes! A totally different set of awesome films will play on each night.

Q: Are the online films the same as the ones in the live screening?

No, the films in the online program and live screenings are all different. There is no overlap!

Q: Is there a discount for buying tickets for both nights?

Yes! Here’s how to get that discount:

1. Log in to your Key City Theatre account or create a new account
2. Go to TICKETS on the top left-hand corner
3. Scroll to BFF FRIDAY – Click BUY
4, Select your seats – Click CHOOSE HIGHLIGHTED SEATS
5. Click ADD TICKETS TO CART (Don’t worry price will change after next steps)
6. Click TICKETS again in the top left corner 
7. Scroll to BFF Saturday – Click BUY 
8. Select seats for Saturday – Click CHOOSE HIGHLIGHTED SEATS 
Success! All Pairs of Friday-Saturday Tickets will show the discounted price.
If you have an uneven number, that ticket will be at the regular $30 price.

Q: Will I need to present proof of vaccination for the Live screening?

Yes. Proof of full vaccination is required per provincial health guidelines. Please allow extra time for everyone to present their proof of vaccination. 

Q: Will masks be worn during the screening?

Yes. The current BC Public Health Order mandates that masks must be worn indoors in public spaces at all times. Please be sure to bring your non-medical cloth or disposable mask with you when you come and keep your mask on for the duration of your visit.

Q: Will the theatre be full?

Per the current provincial health guidelines, Key City Theatre will be filled to half capacity (300 of 600 seats). If restrictions change, please be advised that we may release more tickets in accordance.

Q: Will there be an intermission?

Yes, there will be a 15-minute intermission approximately mid-way through the screening.

Q: Will there be sponsors prizes or “door” prizes?

Following intermission, the Banff prize draw will be conducted on stage and feature prizes from sponsors of the World Tour.
