Applications are now open for both the West and East Kootenay 2025 Youth Climate Corps seasons.
Wildsight’s Youth Climate Corps is an opportunity to kickstart or further develop your career in climate related fields through multi-month paid contracts in BC’s Columbia Basin region.
You will receive professional certifications, mentorship, leadership development, and practical work experience. You will immediately make a difference by implementing meaningful climate solutions in your region while laying groundwork for your own future – all while having fun working with a community of peers. If you are between 17–30 and looking to expand your career opportunities, gain certifications, and have a summer like no other, we want to hear from you!
Past crew members have found the experience enriching, engaging and educational.
“This program exceeded my expectations. I was part of a great team and I loved working with them. I gained many valuable skills and had many memorable experiences on different projects around the region,” said 2024 crew member Mateo Winterscheidt.
