Please join us on March 23rd at Rotacrest Hall for our Creston Annual General Meeting, which will be followed by a Wildsight traverse of the Purcell Wilderness Conservancy with Robyn Duncan and Eddie Petryshen.

The evening will start at 7pm with our short Wildsight Creston AGM, where we will discuss activities for the coming year and will be looking for some new board members, especially someone for treasurer. The AGM will be followed by Robyn sharing the highs and lows of their journey alongside images of this special wilderness.

More than forty years ago, John Bergenske, Art Twomey, Pat Morrow and others led the charge to establish the Purcell Wilderness Conservancy. Thanks to their efforts, the Conservancy is now Southern Canada’s largest protected wilderness area, spanning more than 2000 square kilometres in the heart of the Purcells north of Creston. This summer, John, along with Wildsight’s Robyn Duncan and Eddie Petryshen, spent eight days traversing the Conservancy from north to south.

It should be a wonderful night, we hope to see you there!
