Food matters. The decisions we make as individuals, as a community and as a country about food have a direct impact on our health, environment, economy, and communities. Working together, we can put more affordable, safe, healthy, food on tables across the country, while protecting the environment. The Government of Canada is asking Canadians for their views on what should be included in A Food Policy for Canada.

We want to bring diverse voices to the table to talk about food in Cranbrook so we can have our community’s opportunities and needs reflected in the development of this policy.

Join us at our Community Hall at 7 pm on September 14th to share and explore how we can build a better food system in Cranbrook and across Canada.

We hope you will join us for this important community conversation. Please share this invitation with your networks. Thank you for your time and we look forward to seeing you at the event!

Hosted by Cranbrook Food Action Committee, Interior Health and Wildsight Kimberley/Cranbrook
