Wild and Scenic Film Festival

Our Wild and Scenic Film Festival returns to Invermere on SaturdayNovember 25, 2017, from 5 -9:30 pm. It’s our fourth year and we promise you a full evening of films and lively discussions, supplemented by pizza, wine and beer, a raffle with great prizes, a silent auction and lots of door prizes and oh-so-many cool mountain people! And this year will be even bigger and better because we’ll be in the new Community Centre with lots more room. All funds go towards supporting our environmental and educational intiatives. So don’t miss it.

Check out the 2016 Film Programme, Sponsor list, Raffle Prizes and Door Prizes here.

The Wild and Scenic Film Festival is an international festival that tours in 150 cities and towns in North America. Hundreds of hours go into the organization of it locally, starting with our film screening committee that decides the program. You’ll see how individuals across the globe are taking action and becoming part of the solution on issues ranging from energy, food systems, biodiversity, climate change and the protection and restoration of wild lands and wild waters. You’ll experience the adrenaline of kayaking the wildest rivers, climbing the highest peaks and trekking across the globe with adventure films from around the world. You’ll explore the issues and movements with leading environmental activists and professionals, filmmakers and celebrities.

Want to support the festival? Want to help out? We’re already looking for volunteers. Contact Mandi at 250-341-6898 or invermere@wildsight.ca
