Food Sustainability

Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook is committed to promoting ecological sustainability in our community.  Food has recently been recognized as a very important component in reducing our impact on the earth.  As we’ve grown more and more disconnected from our food sources, we’ve created habits that are not sustainable or healthy.

By choosing to eat more local and organic, we are supporting small farms and businesses, strengthening our local economy, and reducing consumption of fossil fuels.  Our health and overall wellness will improve, and there are great opportunities for community building.

We currently have several projects on the go working to enhance the long-term availability of healthy, affordable food to our residents:

For more information on any of these projects, get in touch with us!
